Here is a compilation of the top ten oldest websites from Mizoram purely based on the date of the registration of the websites. Have a look below:

  3. Maraland.net – 11-Nov-2002
  4. Kolasib.com – 29-Aug-2003

  7. Maratechnology.com – 10-Dec-2004
  8. Hmar.net – 16-jan-2005 (hmar.org – 21-Apr-2003).
  9. Lengzem.com – 09-Jun-2005.
  10. Zawlbuk.net – 26-Oct-2005
    Only active websites are taken into consideration. mcgn.org (02-Jun-2000), mumbaimizo.org(08-Oct-2002) are not included in the list since they are not from Mizoram state. They could be included in differenet category, i.e the oldest websites related to Mizos. mizoworld.com(14-feb-2005) is excluded since the website is inactive.

izawl.com is another site that was extremely successful a loooong time back during zoram.com days. Sadly, that site is no longer around today :(

Yes Sandman, I remember. Someone had registered the website on 06-sep-2007 and unfortunately we cannot know the date of registration of the previous ‘very active’ site from the state.

zokalsiam.com and hnamte.com too were loved by users before these so called dynamic websites powered by cms and blog softwares were this popular.

Lengzem.com no longer function under this domain.
Before lelte.net, there was lelte.com for atleast 1-2 years. They lost the domain as they did not renew on time.

Same story for vanglaini.com, it was there as early as 2001 on plain HTML.

“since they are not from Mizoram state.” – All of them technically are not from Mizoram.

this will mean that cms and blog softwares were not yet popular at that point of time.
