Chin/Mizo/Zomi/Kuki are the word variations for same enthic group, which populates in three countries - India, Bangledesh and Myanmar.
They call themselves Mizo(mi = human/people, zo = hill) as well as Zomi in some dialects. Burmese named them Chin and Kuki is a Bangali word for the same mountain people. Unlike Chins from Myanmar, Mizos from India gained their federated state status - Mizoram in 1987 where they use own language and elect their governor.

Sorry, we don’t. Central government puts whoever they want.
It could mean
they use own language and elect their lawmakers (Members of the state Legislative Assembly).
The Simplest Comment for the simplest definition of Mizo-Chin-Kuki people: Why not have a common name not given by outsiders?
After all, the simplest definition deserves the simplest comment. :->

Mizo-Chin-Kuki isn’t a genre of a race nor a name of one language group. Mizo wil be Mizo forever, the same would be Chin and Kuki as well.

Hi jlnlnth, you are right. What you need to consider is this ‘The Kuki-Chin-Chin languages form a sub-group of the Tibeto-Burman family.’ It is not one language like you rightly said.
And also consider this, Chin/Mizo/Zomi/Kuki are the word variations for same enthic group, which populates in three countries - India, Bangledesh and Myanmar.
