Sangliana downplayed bribery allegation by BJP
The super cop-turned-MP told Newslink newspaper that he had not been bought to vote for the UPA as alleged by BJP MPs.
“Had I wanted bribes, I would have made a million during my service as a police officer for more than 30 years. The people of Karnataka know who Sangliana is. Why should I accept a bribe only to tarnish my reputation as an honest man which took so many years to build?” he asked.
