With California Supreme court ruling 4-3, Homosexual marriages or gay marriages or still same sex marriages are now legal in California, couples with same-sex marriages will have all the same privileges as that of traditional marriage between a man and a woman.

California’s top court has ruled that a state law banning marriage between same-sex couples is unconstitutional.

The state’s Supreme Court said the “right to form a family relationship” applied to all Californians regardless of sexuality.

The ban was approved by voters in 2000 but challenged by gay rights activists and the city of San Francisco.

The state legislature twice passed laws to legalise gay marriage, but Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed them.

He said California’s court system should rule on the matter.

The seven-judge panel voted 4-3 in favour of the plaintiffs who argued that the 2000 law was discriminatory.

Matt Barber of the pro-family Concerned Women for America believes the ruling by the California Supreme Court was the “worst kind of judicial activism today” and represented a rejection of the court’s supposed role “as an objective interpreter of the law.”

Meanwhile, pro-homosexual groups that are trying their best to convince pastors of mega Churches in USA were in shock when Pastor Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church refused to endorse homosexuality, who had said, “Sin is sin.” Now that very sin is legalized according to the new development here in CA. Christians are saddened by this development; however, I guess there will be celebrations in Cathedral of Hope and other such Churches in the country.

Whether the court ruling was a good decision or a bad one, only history will tell us.
