SIAHA: CDs of Miss Maraland Gospel Centenary Beauty Contest 2007 were released on Tuesday at MTP Conference Hall at Siaha (Saiha).

The 3 CDs were released by MTP General Hqrs. President Dr K. Beichhua at MTP Gen. Hqrs Office. The President commented that they could release the CDs only by the grace of God.

Miss Mara Beauty Contest is held once in two years by Mara Thyutlia Py (Mara Young Association) Hqrs. But, this year the beauty contest coincides with the Gospel Centenary of Maraland(100th year of Gospel to Mara people) and thus MTP, the biggest Non-governmental Organisation (NGO) in Maraland conveniently named the Miss as Miss Maraland Gospel Centenary. This beauty contest was, thus conveniently dedicated to the Centenary as well.

“This beauty(Miss Mara) contest will remain in the history of the Mara people,” added the President.

The three CDs are available in stores across East and West Maraland, in Southern Mizoram, India and Western part of Myanmar.
