Photos: Chin New Year celebrated worldwide
Chin people across the globe held a series of festivals celebrating their ‘New Year’ in the month of October. The festival, which has its traditional origin associated with cultivation marks the end of the harvest season.

The festival, which is now known globally as Chin New Year, has its celebration called by various names in Chin dialects of different areas such as Khuado in Tedim and Tonzang, Fang-er in Falam, K’Thai Ei in Mindat and Kanpalet, On Hu Saung Thar Ei Pwe in Asho, Taai Cha Nai in Paletwa, Cang Zom in Matupi, Khai Mdeh in Dai, Kut or Pawl Kut in Mizo and Tho in Hakha.

Awareness such as….
- Arising Chin singers?……No one in Burma knows who they
are and i reckon even the Zo(except for hakha) people themselves would not know them. Offcourse Zo singers are arising in Burma such as Sangpi, Thang Bawi Mung,and thawng Kham rapidly and are popular, country wide. But offcouse they don’t fit in the SO CALLED Chin guardian cause they are not Hakha. am i right? and pitfully there are rare hakha popular singers if not none at all, even in musicians. pretty much that is the reason where this kind of biased news came from….jealous uncivilized ignorant narrow minds..
Sung tin par is Zophei not hakha.
2) Chin and kachin play soccer?
Where do u live MR editor? Which planet? In the brain wash Planet of Hakha pitty idealogy ? we play that like once a week in Rangoon. you just call the KBC church. didn’t know this was qualified as news. Not only kachin, karens rakines and others 2. Such a big Joke. This sort of activity does not fit as news..
Chinland guardian does have a few worthy news..for the rest it is just the same as Chin national front CNF, CHRO chin human right organizatioin, Hakah Low Life Biased Brain Wash Sick Propanganda which is always contrary to truth and reasons and accountability

Dear Sum Sum,
Can u point out anything facts that i went wrong? Since i am sure u are hakha, you should know WELL OF ALL then us, what i put down was what it has been happening.
beware of these hakhas maniac, history has well shown that when ever there is an attempt for unity, these hakha will break because their mentality and ethics or contrary to it
