All people display the usual range of human behavioral patterns: joy, sorrow, anger, pain and other emotions which are indistinguishable from anyone else on an individual level. But groups of thousands or millions of people anywhere in the world,
who live together in nations tend to develop certain unique patterns of behavior based on the stresses, experiences and history of their particular society.

Im from mumbai and i think this site provides good info about mizo mentality, psyche and life style. I am sure that there are atheists in mizoram else my assumptions would equate to stereotyping. It’s interesting to learn that mizo’s are fundamentally religious. I’ve met a lot of indian christians… even my mother side of the family are christians who are religious but what what is common to to hindus and christians in mainland india is that most of them are open to philosophy. This helps in creating a pattern of threshold between christians of mainland and NE christians. Sometimes these unique patterns of behavior are very difficult to recognize, because the behavior is very much like that of anyone else. Even so, it is worth recognizing minor differences because this knowledge has some value in understanding behavior, and in negotiation
and reaching agreements.
