Obama’s CHANGE has come to AMERICA!
One of the most historic elections in the history of US Presidential election, Democratic Party candidate Barack Obama has defeated Republican’s John McCain by 338 to 163 electoral votes according to CNN.com to become the first black man – an African-American to become the 44th US President.

The above picture shows the projected electoral votes from CNN.com.
In the midst of an financial crisis, an ongoing war in Iraq and Afghanistan, Americans have chosen Barack Obama who offers CHANGE in an approach to those and many other fronts.

Out of 117,539,336 votes casted Obama garnered 62,288,823 (52%) votes that translated to 338 electoral votes which includes big states like California 55, Florida 27, New York 31, and battlegrounds – Pensylvannia 21, Colorado, Nevada, Indiana and Ohio.
McCain got 55,250,513 (47%) votes that translated to 163 electoral votes according to an estimation by CNN.
Speaking on the victory, Obama said, “While the Democratic Party has won a great victory tonight, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides that have held back our progress.”
Flanked by American flags, Obama told the roaring crowd, “This is your victory.”
Democrats are now in control of both the Senate 56 to 40 (51 for control) as well as the House of Representatives 251 to 173 (218 for control) .
I’m sure history will remember Obama as one of the great Americans like those of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
It was Martin Luther King Jr. who had a dream and that dream is fulfilled by the change we can believe in brought in by Obama.
