This Project could have been done under the state sector, so that this Project will be employment and money generating asset for the State. It is really sad to see that all the major profit from this Project will forever be lost by the state. Hydroelectric Electricity is the only hope for the economic prosperity of this wonderful state. Now, the biggest asset of the state is essentially gone ( NTPC will be the new owner) As a native of the state of Mizoram, this is one of the saddest chapter of our short History for me.
