Nadal Vs Federer Classic Match Awaits at French Open 2007 Final
PARIS: Men’s Tennis World No. 2 player Rafael Nadal enters the Grand Slam Final at Roland Garros, and will face Swiss World No. 1 Roger Federer on Sunday.
Spanish clay-court expert Rafael Nadal overcame Serbian Teenager Novac Djokovic in three setter 7-5, 6-4 and 6-2 in the second Men’s Semi-final match and set up a repeat of 2006 Grand Slam Final at the French Open 2007. Last year, the final was Nadal Vs Federer, and Nadal had won the title denying FedererĀ the only Grand Slam title he has never won.
Earlier, in the first Men’s Semi-final match RogerFederer defeated Nikolay Davydenko of Russia 7-5, 7-6 and 7-6.
The Men’s Grand Slam Final at Roland Garros will be played on Sunday, June 10, 2007.
On Sunday, Nadal will be looking for his third consecutive win at the French Open, while Federer will be looking for a historic win, the only Grand Slam title he is yet to win.
