Mizoram player named Best U-19 Footballer of Year 2009
According to The Hindu newspaper, an upcoming football player from Mizoram, Beikhokhei Beingaichho of College Vaih, Siaha (Saiha) was named Best U-19 Footballer of the Year 2009 by Indian Football Association (IFA) on November 12, 2009.

He is the only football player from Mizoram who made it to the list of prestigious awards this year.
BeiKhokhei was playing for George Telegraph FC; but recently he was signed by East Bengal FC.
