SIAHA, Sept. 3 (Samaw.com) – ECM Hospital, a hospital run by the Evangelical Church of Maraland (ECM) in Saiha town, Mizoram has got specialist doctor after Dr. K. Beiparyhsa (Sangpuia/Pawsa), Anaesthesia specialist joined the hospital on Wednesday.

Dr. Pawsa did his MBBS from Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati and his D.A(Anesthesiology) from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Mumbai. The valuable addition of Dr. Sangpuia to the team of doctor at ECM Hospital will be a boon to the hospital, said our Correspondent from Saiha.

ECM is one of the three pioneer Churches in Mizoram founded English Missionaries – Rev. & Mrs. R.A. Lorrain, whose grand-daughter and great grand children are still living at the first mission centre at Saikai (Serkawr), near Tipa (Tuipang) town in Saiha district, South Mizoram.

The ECM Hospital started as a clinic, a nursing home and now it is the only full-fledged and private Hospital in Saiha, locally known as Siaha – the third biggest towns in Mizoram.
