Mizoram: ‘Christian Rock Festival 2010′ planned in Aizawl
A Christian Rock Festival has been planned for the first time in Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram on April 30, 2010, 7:00PM at Dawrpui School Compound, Dawrpui, Aizawl. During the festival to be graced by top Rock bands from Mizoram, donations for Haiti earthquake victims will also be collected.

According to Lelte, Aizawl-based Weekly Mizo Music Magazine, the idea of holding the Rock Festival is inspired by the success of Gospel Music Nite held earlier this year.
Officially named “Christian Rock Festival 2010″, will be co-hosted by Aizawl Dawrpui Veng-based Raphael’s Ministry and Dawrpui Young Mizo Association (YMA) Vanapa Section, the magazine reported.
‘Nang Malsawmna Ni Ang Che’ literally meaning “Be a Blessing” or “May You be a Blessing (to others)” has been chosen as the theme of the festival, the most popular entertainment magazine in the state stated.
The report said that popular music bands in Mizoram like Magdalene, Even Flow, Drop Doubt, Boomerang, Albatross, Dreamhunter, Freddy’s Nightmare, Gravity, S’ Cube, Incarnation, In ‘N’ Out and other music bands from Dawrpui have so far confirmed their participation. Well established individual artists are also expected to perform, it added.

I’m planning a trip to Aizawl to establish 12-Step groups and plan to be there. I would like to get support for these self-help groups.
