Mizo student presumed dead was pushed out of moving train in AP

An unconfirmed report from Bangalore stated that a Mizo student traveling from Bangalore to Guwahati had disappeared in Andra Pradesh, he is presumed to have died.

They suspect that the victim - Lalhlimpuia Ramlawt better known as Mapuia from Lawngtlai was pushed out of the moving train by some miscreants somewhere in Andra Pradesh on Friday evening. These group of Mizo students in Bangalore are from Saiha (Siaha) and Lawngtlai who were going home for summer vacation. Mapuia is a brother of beautician Linda Ramlawt, who is working in Bangalore.

“We presumed him to be pushed out of the train because he didn’t return to his seat,” said one of the students.

“When we go out from the coach to see him, he was no more. We don’t think he will commit suicide by jumping off the train; however, we are very insure how it happened,” he added.

The report also stated that two students had got down at one of the stations in Andra Pradesh to trace the body of the victim. The problem is that these students didn’t know exactly where it happened. Let’s hope they will keep in touch with Hyderabad Mizos to get any necessary help.

Linda can be contacted at her mobile +(91) 991-650-8079.

Our prayers are with the victim’s family and specially to Linda.

We are very sorry about what happened and at the same time feel pity for Linda, who get only a few visitors at her resident in Bangalore.

I personally visited her resident and stayed 2 nights without sleeping, she told me only 7 people have visited her.

There is an association of Mizos - Banglaore Mizo Association in Bangalore and it looks like the association will not interfere in this case.

I knew that Linda and her bro - Mapui are new to Bangalore and yet to register their name in the association or may not, but I do feel that, as Mizo and many people already read about what is posted in Misual.com , and of course many Mizos in Bangalore knew about the news, the association must do something - at least visit her house, comfort her……

I am Mara, I have no connection with Lai people or Lawngtlai itself, but since I am from Mizoram, I do feel sorry for what happen to Mapui and Linda herself.

May God Bless Linda….
