India Top World-wide Consumer Confidence Index
Consumers in India are the most upbeat in the world, according to the latest A.C Nielsen Company’s Global Consumer Confidence Index (CCI).
India scored 135 on the CCI, followed by Norway (132) and Denmark (127). Scandinavians were also bullish, while Japanese, South Koreans and Hungarians were among most pessimistic consumers, according to the survey, which gauges consumers outlook for the next 12 months.

With the mushrooming of shoppings malls in cities across Indian cities, the next 12 months is a good time for manufacturers as well.
