Meeting of Board of Governor of ICFAI University Mizoram was held in Aizawl yesterday under the chairmanship of the Chancellor, Mr. Subhash Sarnikar.

The meeting noted with gratitude the granting of recognition to Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University, Mizoram.

Mizoram by the University Grant Commission and appointment of retired IAS officer, Mr. P. Rohmingthanga as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University.

After approving the recommendations of the expert committee, the University Grants Commission granted provisional recognition to the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Mizoram on 18th January 2010.

The ICFAI University was set up after a bill was legislated by the Mizoram state assembly in 2006.
