Hyderabad Mizo Best female student Award 2007

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Mizo Association has announced the recipient of the ‘Best Female Student Award 2007. It goes to V. Sawmveli of College Vaih, Siaha.

We received sms message as

V. Sawmveli, M.Phil is the reciepient of Hyderabad Mizo Association’s ‘Best female student award 2007′. The award will be formaly handed over to her on Tuesday 2nd October, which is HMA day. The award carries with it cash incentive+trophy and a citation.

V. Sawmveli is the daughter of Puhpa V. Vanhupy, Ex-EM and current MDC from College Vaih Constituency, Siaha at Mara Autonomous District Council (MADC). She is a Research Scholar, pursuing Ph.D at the University of Hyderabad. Her research area seems to be about ‘Mara Women’.

Earlier, she finished M.Phil with first class, a rare achievement for a Mara girl and the first to achieve such a feat.

Congrats Nunu, you’ve made us proud once again.
