Graduates are Cycle rickshaw-pullers in Manipur

I often heard this, finally Hindustan Times Newspaper, Delhi edition is publishing series of articles on failed law and order situation in Manipur State… which includes  this sad story as well..

It also mentions that many graduates and post-graduates in Imphal and other cities and towns in Manipur state are pulling Cycle Rickshaws to make ends meet as there is virtually no hope of getting any jobs in the state.

“Graduate and post-graduate men ply cycle-rickshaws in Manipur due to lack of jobs, and mask their faces in shame”, reported Hindustan Times Newspaper.

The situation of Manipur is very pathetic indeed. I too have heard this from some friends from the state.
