He attends Bethel Local Church; one of the local Churches of Evangelical Church of Maraland India (ECMI) at Siaha (Saiha), Mizoram.

Puhpa Welborn, with his friends have conducted ‘Praise & Worship Concerts’ in town to draw youngsters to God and believers’ way of life. He is a very talented music teacher and choir conductor at the Church.
