Hi. I want to travel to US on B1 visa. I have a small daughter (10 months old). I want my maid to travel with me to take care of my baby.
Is there any option my maid can travel provided I have B1 visa.
Please advice me the visa requirements for both my baby and maid.

Hi Harish, we are very sorry, we do not understand why you are asked to apply get emigration clearance to be done from Chandigarh. Did you approach the right office (POE office in Hyderabad) or you approach the RPO office?

Dear sir,
I have applied for ECR on 07 of Jul to sharja in Hyderabad office. But the officers said that now a days they are not stamping. So that again I send it to Chandigarh office but still its pending. My visa will expired on 03 of Aug. sir can You please tel me that what is problem going on??? I am eagerely waiting for your earliest reply….

Hi Anand, the passports issued lately are BLANK at emigration page, they are ECNR by default. ECR will be mentioned there only if the status is ECR. Otherwise, ECNR are blank by default. I hope this clears the doubt.

hi dis is anand…
can u plz tell me about dis blank page in the passport ?actually i had received my new passport few days back…and it dont have either ecr stamp nor ecnr stamp so…does it necessary to put ecnr stamp der if we r going to hong kong,,] plz send the reply in my email-id too

Hi Varghese, ECNR means emigration check NOT required. Once is it ECNR, it is always ECNR unless the authorities make changes in your passport. You are good and safe. I hope this clears the doubt.

I am in bahrain the last 4 years. this month I am planning to go back to India. When I came here my passport mention ECNR. Just I want to know again take ECNR when I go back to India.
