One of the most successful football players among Maras and possibly Mizos as a whole, Malsawmtluanga Syhlo aka Mama told Laxmi Negi of Indian Express newspaper “Music is the food of Mizo people”.

Mizoram Chief Minister urged for democracy in Burma
AIZAWL, Jan 18 - Mizo activists for democracy in Burma today urgedĀ Zoramthanga, Chief Minister of Mizoram state, northeast India to include the issue of democracy in Burma in the next bilateral talks between Burmese and Indian delegates to be held in April, 2008.

ID proof a must in Delhi from Jan 15
Citizens living in Delhi will have to carry a photo identity card with them from January 15, 2007 onwards. The police say the measure is intended towards creating foolproof security in the face of rising incidence of terror, CNN-IBN reported.
