Chin National Front requests India to ease pressure
AIZAWL, 22 March 2010 (Khonumthung): The Chin National Front (CNF) operating from Aizawl city, Mizoram northeast state of India has appealed to the Government of India to ease political pressure and stop joint-operations with the Burmese military junta on them.
A press release on the 22nd anniversary of the Chin National Front on 20 March said that Indian Government is cooperating with the military junta on bilateral trade issues in keeping with the Look East Policy and has joined hands militarily so that it can create pressure on the Chin National Front.
“The joint-operation of the India and Myanmar governments has to do with the arrest of members of the Chin National Front settled in India,” said Mr. Paul Sita, general secretary of CNF.
The Chin National Front has requested the Indian government, given that it is the largest democracy in the world, that it should not apply political pressure to those fighting for democracy and human rights for their country.
“We are fighting for the restoration of democracy in Burma and are also supporting a federal union in keeping with our constitution. We believe that the Indian government will heed our request seriously and concede to it,” he added.
CNF lost its military headquarters called ‘Victoria Camp’ in 2005 on the border to a joint military operation between India and Burma. It was the result of pressure by the military junta on the Indian government. – Khonumthung News.

Martin: CNF/CNA is not Hakha, thantlang only, its mara, matupi much more the memebers and officers are. Even Paul Sitha is a mara, and much more. There is few Hakha/thantlang who are in CNF/CNA members, i though, you always hate about the Lais, whenever you give a comment, you give a dam to the Lais, if so, am gonna take it in personaly, now on.

Martin has not been very kind to our Lai brothers, simply because he thinks that Lais are dominating Chin state. He is someone who wants to impose the name Zo or Zomi to all Chin people. No one can impose anything on any other family in Chin state. If Lais are satisfied with Chin for now, it’s up to them.. Except Zomis, most China are in CNF..

To introduce, zo, in Chin hills woun’t work at all, may work in mizoram, may not be neither. coz, introducing ZO, its obvious among the Chins, Clan/tribes, for the maras, its, Benchut, its a kind off, thats how i know. i may be wrong, same thing among the biggest Chins tribes/clan, among the Lais, the Zo, would be like the cool place and so on, and the way they see, is, Lookingdown, or Look asshole.. Do you think Zo would be accepted among the whole Chins. am nor sure at all.
For the Chin Hills area, its a wise to use CHIN only to accept for the whole Chins and for Mizoram to Use MIZO for the Whole Mizos. : Shelah!!!

Guys, why is this a pain in the asshole making noise here? Martin, you do not know about we Lai peoples. You do not know us at all. One day, when Chinland gets our liberation or freedom, we will see which one, Lai or Zomi, is traitor.
