Chicago student wins Car for perfect school attendance
Ashley Martinez, a 12-year old Chicago Public School (CPS) student had won a 2008 Dodge Caliber for three straight months of perfect attendance.
The car was an incentive that CPS officials were offering to children as a reward for attending school daily, reported CNN-IBN.
This is cool. It reminds me of a friend of mine who won ‘Nopui’ ( Big Cup) of being the one who held the record of the best school attendance in a given year at Synod Higher Secondary School, Mission Vengthlang, Aizawl some years ago.
