BeautifulPeople.com axes 5000 members for gaining weight
BeautifulPeople.com, infamous for its selection of members or site users has once again acted strictly on its members who had gained weight during holiday; as they cannot be counted among beautiful people anymore. As a rule according to the website, ugly people are strictly prohibited from using this website.
BBC News reported that BeautifulPeople.com has axed some 5,000 members following complaints that they had gained weight during the past few weeks.
“The members were singled out after posting pictures of themselves that reportedly showed they had put on pounds over the holiday period,” it said.
Robert Hintze, founder of BeautifulPeople.com, said: “As a business, we mourn the loss of any member, but the fact remains that our members demand the high standard of beauty be upheld.
“Letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded.”
