Mr Zorammawia, a native of Siaha(Saiha), Mizoram, who arrived in Bangalore a week ago has been missing since Thursday, November 19, 2009. He was reportedly last seen leaving Ashok Nagar Police station near Brigade Road at around 7:00 a.m. by a police on duty.

An FIR was filed with the police station on the same night and a thorough search is being carried out by Mizo community leaders in the city.

Zorammawia is a married man, an Engineer by profession and is working as Junior Engineer (JE) with Power & Electricity Dept, Saiha town, in south Mizoram. He has come to the city for improving his communication skills and was staying in a Paying Guest (PG) near Nanjappa Circle in Shanti Nagar.
