Aizawl Times advertisement
Today when I googled I found Aizol Times advertisement to be the only ad that appear on the search result.
I really wonder why Aizol Times is spending money on advertising its website when the website aizoltimes.com itself is poorly developed and there’s nothing to gain from it! Perhaps Aizol Times is rich and can squander money as they wish, but it sounds like a very unwise investment.
I wish they develop the website first so that they can get repeated visitors for sure. At present the website based on ‘textpattern’ doesn’t seem like worth advertising. I suggest they move to WordPress using Revolution themes like news or media. Joomla and postnuke too are good as it provides a nice way to list posts.
Facts rarely known to others about Aizol Times:
- The oldest English newspaper in Mizoram
- Year of establishment : 1972
- Not listed among the English Dailies in Mizoram at Press Info. Bureau website – pibaizawl.nic.in
- Aizol Times is a competitor to The Highlander and Newslink English dailies in Aizawl.
- The Editor of Aizol Times.

I am happy to know that AIZAWL times exists.we have been trying to have an English Dailies or newspapers in Mizoram. I hope the PIB, will make an an effort to lauch a english news website. we would be grateful to all the Mizoram media
