Air Deccan 4th Anniversary, offers no fun fares
Today, Air Deccan - the first and most successful low-cost airline in India completes 4 years of service on Indian sky. But unlike the preceding years offers nothing special.
Remember, it offered 1,00,000 tickets for free on its 3rd anniversary last year. But this year the airline is busy preparing to fly out of Indian sky to a foreign destinations with its partner Kingfisher Airlines.
What’s more? Instead of offering cheap tickets this time around, Air Deccan is mulling on increasing the air fares by Rs.1,000/-.
The airline official was quoted as saying, “Delhi-Bangalore air fare was Rs.12,000/- before Air Deccan came into the market, now we have been offering only at Rs.4000/- a substantial increase like Rs.1,000/- will add only to Rs.5000/- per head which is still less than half of the air fare from regular airlines like Indian.”
Thumbs-up to Captain G R Gopinath, the founder and CMD of Air Deccan, here is a wishes from samaw.com for the brilliant and courageous launching this airline.
Fan fares or no fun fares on the anniversary, Air Deccan has changed how a common men travel on air and it deserves compliment from every Indians.
